Here is a fabulous tooth of Mammuthus primigenius, a Woolly Mammoth, from the Pleistocene of Russia. This specimen was found in the same area that was featured in the Discovery Channel special, ''Raising the Mammoth''. The distinct tooth is fully 3-dimensional and exhibits great detail. The grinding surface of the colorful tooth is exceptionally well preserved and beautifully displayed. This solid tooth still has the long root intact. The tooth has great natural color and displays beautifully. And a small sample of REAL Woolly Mammoth hair/wool is included at no charge (not pictured). This is a very cool Mammoth tooth from Siberia.
