Here is a gorgeous fossilized Mammoth tooth. This tooth is from the Woolly Mammoth, Mammuthus primigenius. This exquisite specimen is from the Pleistocene of Siberia, Russia. This is a large tooth - it is 11 inches long and over 6 inches high, definitely from an adult mammoth. The grinding surface has excellent detail, showing the plate structure very well. The tooth has excellent reddish-brown color and the long roots are beautifully displayed. And it is HEAVY - definitely a fossil tooth. This is a top quality mammoth tooth from Siberia.
